Larry S. Katz, Ph.D., is Director of Rutgers Cooperative Extension; Associate Director, New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station; and an Associate Professor in the Department of Animal Sciences. He is known for his work on the endocrine basis of sexual behavior of domesticated ruminants (cows, sheep, goats, and deer). He has worked extensively on animal rights and welfare issues and the management of wildlife populations, particularly deer.
