RUTGERS EQUINE SCIENCE CENTER ANNUAL UPDATE SET FOR DECEMBER 12, 2006
NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ (November 10, 2006) – The Rutgers Equine Science Center will sponsor its annual Equine Science Update on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the New Jersey Museum of Agriculture on the Cook Campus of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.
The Equine Science Update, geared to professionals, students, science teachers, 4-H horse program participants and educators, will include presentations highlighting the Equine Science Center’s work in advancing equine health, horse management practices, and solutions to equine industry issues. Topics to be covered include:
In addition to the Equine Science Update, tours of campus facilities will include a visit to the weanlings in the Young Horse Teaching and Research Program at 4:30 p.m. and a demonstration of the Center’s high-speed equine treadmill at 5:30 p.m.
