Uta Krogmann, Ph.D.
is Extension Specialist in Solid Waste Management at the Rutgers Cooperative Extension New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station. Her research and outreach projects focus on managing biodegradable organic waste, including composting and land application of organic wastes such as food processing residuals, manure and sewage sludges, and food and yard waste. Recent research and outreach involve analyses used in policy-making in solid waste management.

 

Dr. Krogmann holds a degree in civil engineering (bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and Licensed Civil Engineer combined) from the Rhenish Westphalian Technical University in Aachen, Germany, and a Ph.D. in civil engineering from the Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg, Germany.
